PropertyGuru’s recent collaboration with Tuan Sing Holdings for a consumer seminar on Vesak Day has been a boon for the developer’s Sennett Residence, with a strong turnout from home buyers and healthy sales reported.
“The turnout was very good, and because of that, we managed to sell quite a number of units,” said Chong Chou Yuen, Chief Financial Officer of Tuan Sing.
The 335-unit condominium project is almost 90 percent sold, with buyers mostly attracted to its ideal location on the doorstep of Potong Pasir MRT station.
“If you look at future developments in the area, there are big projects coming up as well as shops. Other nearby sites will be auctioned by the government soon, so this is a very good location for us. Nothing can match this spot which is zero distance from the MRT station. You don’t even need a car, even though there are adequate car park facilities,” Chong noted.
One buyer at the event who declined to be named told PropertyGuru: “I’m looking at it more as an investment and I believe the rental yield will be good because of the location.”
Commenting on the educational talks which took place during the seminar, he said: “The speakers were quite knowledgeable in terms of what they shared about the market which helps buyers in their property purchase decisions.”
William Heng, Senior Division Director at Huttons Real Estate Group, who gave a talk about Sennett Residence, said: “We’re engaging a few initiatives to help bring more traffic to the showflat and create further awareness about Sennett Residence, and we are able to do that through PropertyGuru. Many people who did not know about this area learned about the project through the seminar and we have gathered a lot more interest from potential buyers.”
