Forte Suites (pictured), a new 106-unit condominium located near the fast-growing Novena medical hub will launch this Saturday, said its developer Forte Development, a unit of JForté Group.
Situated at 88 Mergui Road in District 8, it features a unit mix of one- to three-bedrooms. A check on PropertyGuru showed that prices start from around $750,000 for a 441 sq ft one-bedder.
So far, about 20 percent of the units have been taken up during the soft launch which started on 6 September, and regional buyers who are frequent medical tourists bought a number of the units.
Jason Lee, Chairman of JForté, said: “With central Singapore rapidly evolving into a major medical hub, this project will form part of this transformation to blend community lifestyles, healthcare services and medical education within parts of the city and city-fringe.
“With this development, we expect a multiplier of medical tourism effects, rental potential as well as overseas demand for homes in this part of the island-state to set off,” he added.
Forte Suites is also within walking distance to Farrer Park MRT station while nearby expressways provide easy access to the central business district.
The freehold project is expected to obtain TOP in June 2018.
JForté Group is responsible for a number of properties in Singapore, including 8 Farrer Suites and 28 Imperial Residences. It is also involved in the development of good class bungalows.
