After the renovations are done and furniture has been moved in, all that’s left is to decorate and add some pizzazz your home.
The Affordable Art Fair in Singapore may have just what you need without breaking the bank.
Artworks of various mediums such as paintings, prints, sculpture and photography start from $100 and nothing is priced beyond $10,000, making it an ideal event for homeowners to browse and purchase the perfect piece of contemporary art for their home.
In fact, 75 percent of the works cost less than $7,500. All artwork will be labelled so visitors know exactly what fits their budget, and there is even a specially curated wall which highlights some artworks which are less than $1,000.
The fair will showcase 360 new and emerging artists such as local artist Ashley Yeo, and 440 established ones including veteran Singaporean artist Lim Tze Peng. Over 100 galleries from the world over will be exhibiting.
Visitors can also view a diverse selection of contemporary artworks, across a variety of styles from abstract to figurative.
The Affordable Art Fair in Singapore will be held at the F1 Pit Building from November 20 to 23.
Last November, the fair recorded $4.9 million worth of art sales, compared to $1.75 million from the first edition in 2010, reflecting the growing appetite for contemporary art.
