lots of lush greenery in Tiong Bahru
Central Green offers a burst of lush greenery to the Tiong Bahru area. there are even an abundance of flowering plants within the condo grounds, which is fantastic for residents. other facilities include 2 tennis courts, 2 gyms, swimming pools, bbq pits, child play area, multi purpose hall... just remember your access card as you make your way around the grounds. outside the condo, it's a short distance to icons like tiong bahru market, tiong bahru plaza and all the lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. take a short bus ride to town, to the cbd, or for a trip to the Southern Ridges for a walk. -

Great location but bad management
Great location for condo , everything is good i would give 5 stars for the place, location and lifestyle However, worst management in a condominium. Really terrible , not very helpful do, as they please. Time to upgrade to newer style of management , 0 stars! -

Large Units, Beautiful Grounds
As this is an older condo, the units are very large compared to newer projects. The entire project was just repainted, so it looks great. Grounds are beautiful and green. New gym and decent pool. -

Looks a little dated but one can't fault its locality and the big land and not too high density set up for a development that has Tiong Bahru MRT station at its door step. -

Great facilities & excellent transport links
I am surprised by the negative comments here. I am an Expat who has lived here for 8 years. Aside from the two tennis courts, which are popular at peak times, I find the facilities readily available for use and the pool is almost never crowded (even on a lazy Sunday afternoon). It has a squash court, table tennis courts, a huge heated spa pool, a sauna and steam room. Yes, it is showing signs of age, but generally well maintained and prices reflect age. Proximity to transport could not be better, it is one of the closest Condos to a MRT station on the island - MRT is 3 short stops from Raffles Place. CTE & AYE are minutes away. The units are a decent size compared to the newer condos, but interior decoration varies enormously, it seems there is little premium for renovation here, so some landlords don't seem to bother and leave their units in original condition. Complex is popular with local owners, we have many neighbours who have been here since TOP 1995, and also Korean & Japanese expats. It is family friendly, but not overrun with children. More expats are appearing as Tiong Bahru becomes trendy and they recognise the value of being a stroll from great food offerings and within easy commute to work. -

Too Many Illegal Lettings
There are many unscrupulous owners trying to squeeze every $$ out of their unit engaging in short term rental or even partitioning up the unit for rental making the condo having more residents than there should be with a very complicated residents profile. With so many residents, swimming pool always cramped during weekend. You always bump into unfamiliar faces taking the same lift with you, and there are always people moving in and out. With all these, it is difficult to control over access, security and use of facilities. Do not expect those for short term stay or staying in a partitioned unit to be considerate or friendly neighbour. Condo is also old and many maintainence problems. Stay away, there are so many new condos around at better price! -

The unit is old
Although the condo has been repaint, but undeniable that it was built at 1995, the common areas are not so well maintain and the units are not that big as well. -

just about ok
The condo grounds arent safe,my locked and chained bicycle was stolen from the cycle shed on the condo grounds..I didnt call in the police thinking that the management and security are competent enough to solve the mysterious disappearance but both were indifferent and didnt bother to help out at all. The security came up with various versions of what may have happened to my cycle with the extent of even saying that they knew who the culprit was but didnt have proof.Even with all the boasting of fancy and costly cctv coverage,the daring culprit managed to break the secured chain and lock and make away with my new cycle.Mine is not the sole case of cycle theft,there has been a spate of such cases in this condo grounds.. -

unable to play in park and mutli court
children's park and basket ball court closes down at 7pm. Most child come home from school after 4pm. Thereafter have homework, does not give them time to go down to play in the condo. After paying for condo facilities forced to go and play in HDB. Secondly what about children who have afternoon school -cannot even see the park / multipurpose court. Need to wait for weekends. Its great place for the near by Amenities like mall, fairprice, mrt ,buses, taxis, wet market ,fruit market many more. -
