Best Condo in Hillview
Staying here for almost 7 years, I would say this is what I call home. Quiet and peaceful with nice neighbours. Great accessibility to MRT, buses, HillV2 and community center. Hillvista internal interiors are with good quality. -

A place to call home
A fantastic low density condo with a good mix of residents. The facilities are just right for the number of residents (2 swimming pools, huge bbq facilities, good size gym, kids playground including turtles and koi fish pond). The condo is a 5 minute walk away from HillV2 shopping centre and the Hillview MRT which makes it extremely convenient to get around. -

Convenient location
Hillview has transferred drastically these two years and Hillvista is now within walking distance to HillV2, MRT, CC, 7-11 etc. The facilities could use a little upgrade and be better maintained. -

Cramped layout and facilities
One of the relatively newer developments in hillview compared to its neighbours. Development is cramped with a small swimming pool and tiny gym. Units facing Chantilly Rise suffer from west sun. Noticed nearly all the windows heavily cloaked with curtains. viewed a pool facing 2nd floor unit, ends up looking at the glass parapet which was accumulating leaves and other rubbish. kitchen area faces common corridor which gets pretty dark in late afternoons. In fact the inner compound was so dark (corridor lights not activated yet) that we had difficulty seeing the correct unit during property viewing Overall maintainence of the estate is alright. -

A serene and luxurious home
My family and I just moved into Hillvista about 1 month ago. We are loving it! Hillvista is a sanctuary set in lush greenery. It has a luxury resort-like ambience lavished with exquisite finishes and aesthetic. The exterior and interior maintain a sleek clean design, which focus on structure and clean lines. The use of quality furnishing and warm lights in a strategic places add instant sunshine to our estate. Our dinning pavilions are a major talking with among residents and visitors. Its private dining concept makes culinary events a sumptuousness affair. Hillvista is conveniently located near the junction of Hillview Ave and Elizabeth Drive. Minutes (walk) away from the upcoming Hillview MRT Station (Downtown Line), Hillvista is also easily accessible via Pan Island Expressway (PIE) and Upper Bukit Timah Road. Premium Bus Service is also available outside the estate, and it takes you around 25 minutes to reach the Central Business District. Hillvista is about 2-3 min drive away from The Rail Mall which houses Cold Storage, Harry’s Bar, Galbiati Gourmet Deli, Clinic…etc. The estate is also within 1km to CHIJ (Our Lady Queen of Peace) at Chestnut Drive. Whilst the prices of Hillvista may be higher than the ‘old estates’ along Hillview Ave, it is definitely more reasonable as compared to the newer ones that are currently in construction. With the upcoming Hillview MRT Station and shopping mall that are minutes walk away, Hillvista is an ideal choice for those who are looking for a serene and luxurious home. A good investment upside awaits in the mid and longer term. -

Loving it!!
I'm a resident at Hillvista, and a 1st time home buyer. To be honest, this is not a family-friendly development, which is why i LOVE IT! As a young couple who craves peace & tranquility, wants a beautiful place to come home to and chill out, this is it. Is it overpriced? Most definitely. But the value of living here - priceless! -

Overprice !
I love Hillview Area,noticed that Hillvista just top and hope to buy one for own stay however after viewed a unit thare I found out that was not worth the price, with this price i can get better development. I strongly agreed with what Summer Clark said!~~ -

Small Development
I have recently visted my friend that just moved into Hillvista. It is very inconvenient if you do not own a car. There is very little bus numbers at the nearest bus stop. The development is very small but it has a crazy asking for about 1.5 million for a typical 3 room unit. There is very little facilities and the gym room is very small. There is no space for children to have leisure time like riding a bicycle as they is very little space to do so. If you are a buyer... Please think twice before you buy this development! -

Trying to put some objectivity in my purchase of a Hillvista unit at 1.1k psf just drew a blank. 1. It was kinda love at first sight. Nice address 1 Elizabeth Drive. 2. I'm pretty upbeat about the potential of Hillview. 3. 2 HVs I love, Hillview and Holland Village. Obviously I couldn't afford the latter. :D Now for the serious part. Firstly I need to qualify that I am fat. Facilities I am particular about being "overwhelmed" by facilities I do not need in condos, for example, a tennis court, or putting green. Hillvista is not one of them. A good pool, sheltered from the wind and afternoon sun is all I need. Interior Unit layout is clever, especially the kitchen. Materials for interior is pretty decent. The signature sunken bath concept from Far East is great for having baths at home without punishing those who shower. Folks who dread climbing in and out of slippery bathtubs for a shower will know what I mean. Nevermind the smaller floor areas because wasted space is wasted money anyway. Exterior Not too excessive with display-only features that add to maintenance. I don't know, or care, if its really a Balinese theme, at least its not ugly or overdone. Since its new, it looks better than the surrounding developments. Now for the grievences. 127 units, 127 parking lots, and not all are sheltered in the basement!?!? I estimate its about 550m of walking to the future Hillview Station. Perhaps its easy for you, but I'm just too fat to do that. No rear exit to Jalan Batu Nilam. Some units may be somewhat west facing. Now something about Fengshui. Based on my inept and naive understanding of this topic, within the 8-gua numbers, I observed that there seems to be an acceptable layout for almost every gua number (that means almost everyone) depending on which unit you choose. There you go. Now, go buy a Hillvista unit just because the fat man says so. -
