Best in Newton
a nice and safe accommodation in the town area near to orchard and the express way c Located in such a central part of Singapore. And yet still so quiet. Great place to stay We love it -

Very well maintained .. Great service .. Located in the center just 5 mins walk to Newton and very safe area of singapore . Best place near Orchard, Novena and Newton -

Newton Edge...good feedback
Some feedback during our 2-year stay at Newton Edge before being posted back to Australia. Lived in one of the units in Tower 2. Layout was good, most importantly we had walls that became backdrop for our display shelves and baywindows were able to function as seats. Kitchen and toilet fittings were generally good and designed with a modern take. We got our request for an add-on bar tap to the kitchen sink which was great. The rain shower & sunken bath concept in the toilet were cool being something new to us. At the common areas, the bar counter, dining area and BBQ facility next to the pool made a great setting for our entertaining of guests. Reading lounge at the other end of the tower came in handy for boardgames and tea. The fully equipped gym for both hardcore strength training and cardio is great...kudos to the management for the additional new equipments. Location like what many have said is simply fantastic, one could not ask for more... -

A District 9 Gem!
I am a tenant from Europe and have been living with my wife and 2 kids for couple of years at Newton Edge and we found the place to be excellent especially in terms of location (proximity to Orchard, the peaceful & quiet environment being surrounded by landed homes nearby unlike the more condo-populated dense portion of Newton just across the river and with main bus/taxi routes & MRT just around the corner - there are now 2 lines with the new Downtown Line in addition to existing North-South Line which is great when we head for Botanic Gardens with the kids or to the restaurant scene of Bukit Timah neigbourhood), tight security and good upkeep of common areas. For facilities, I find the outdoor gym to be very well equipped for my intensive weight training regime. My wife would usually spendsher time doing cardio in the indoor gym and afterwards together with the kids we go for a swim and make use of the adjacent outdoor dining/BBQ area. Internal unit layouts are pretty much similar to the newer condo developments in the area - having made a couple of friends in the estate, we did notice some of the smaller units having good squarish layout for the living/dining areas which would probably be a hit for couples/investors. All in all, we have noticed many condos of the same size (no. of units) in the vicinity lacking in many areas which Newton Edge possesses, and to top it all of, our visitors find the modern architecture of the building striking - its probably the only condo in the vicinity with a landmark sculpture at its entrance too! -

Newton Edge Condo
I currently live at Newton Edge on a high level with view of the Marina Bay and the City-CBD. There is always a very nice breeze especially in the evenings so we love to keep our windows open and enjoy the nice city view. Unlike other developments in this area, we're fortunate that Newton Edge currently has unblocked views and certainly does not have a clustered feel. Having made fair bit of acquaintances here, it seems that the bulk are couples with no kids, or singles. All seem to be professionals from various industries ranging from Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants, Architects, etc...Also met a few real estate agents that own units here for investment property. I believe that the fantastic location of this development is the primary reason that it attracts ppl to this development for both owner-stay and leasing. In terms of condo facilities,...there is a gym but probably good for 2 ppl at a given time due to space restriction but I presume that most ppl living here have acquired a gym membership anyways. The pool on the otherhand is quite nice and BBQ parties are enjoyable too due to the space and overall layout kind of giving the feeling that you are at your very own penthouse rooftop. When we're little lazy to have a home cooked meal, we love that there are abundant options all within short walking distance away such as Newton Food Centre, United Square Mall, Novena, etc. My wife and I love it here so far and just wanted to share. Newton Edge - Great Value
I think Newton Edge stands out as a good place to rent because: - Proximity to Newton MRT. - Proximity to good supermarkets/shopping malls (United Square). - Near to Dining places including Newton Food Centre - Situated away from the main road (tranquil) - Great City Living -

My experience in Newton edge
Lived at newton edge for two years and recently moved out. My view on the condo: facilities are poor compared to other condos in equally central neighborhoods, interior furnishing is very poor (example wardrobe material etc.), walk to the mrt is complicated as it involves crossing over at the circus and does not have suitable pedestrian walk way. Overall, having looked around in the last two years, I would say that this is extremely over priced for what it offers. -

Newton Edge
The main attraction is the location as it is next to next junction and walkable to various bustops and MRT. Even then walking to newton MRT is quite a hassle as one has to cross a field and cross 2 roads and an overhead bridge. Most units in this condo are small and primarily for singles or small families. The main problems are the lack of facilities, the pool is really tiny and no kids playground,the lack of luxury feel eventhough it is located at Newton, the units have quite big planters. There is really no comparison with larger projects in the vicinity. -
