Its "young couple" residents profile makes this a wonderful place as not many kids screaming in the swimming pool area.
Besides recreational swimming pool, it also boasts a lap pool !
Good space layout of the full condo facilities and well lay out unit design is a must view for home buyers.
Fabulous location to Yio Chu Kang MRT and the great food court and markets nearby is very convenient. (Perhaps this is why people were queueing days before it was launched!)
Check this out and you may be pleasantly surprised.

No love at first sight
Went to view units few days ago after viewing some nice photos about this condo on this site.
To be honest, a little dissapointed as i don't have the "condo" feel when i enter the condo. The pool is just next to the main road and quite noisy as it near the MRT.
The unit that i viewed was ok as it was somehow quite distance from the MRT and facing opposite direction. The layout of the unit is good and i like the location and it is near MRT.
Overall worth considering for investment (better rental perhaps as near MRT), for own stay prefer better environment and facilities.

Its too one-sided opinion that it's clearly a g8 agent playing down on Nuovo.
Each got it's own merit. But G8 being a larger development, tends to be more crowded whereas Nuovo, lesser occupants, translate to a more peaceful and condusive environment.
Not taking any side but best to leave it to those who had seen both projects to judge for themselves.

G8 vs Nuovo
Actually G8 is closer to YCK MRT than AMK MRT if you exit by the back gate. G8 is approx 580m from YCK MRT.
Also G8 is super near AMK central like 3 min walk to the first shops and 5-7 min brisk walk to AMK hub.
G8 is also a condo while Nuovo is an EC so Nuvo is not 100% private property.
I have been staying at G8 for over a year now and was considering Nuovo at one time as well. G8 is far more convenient since I don't drive.
Additionally, the fittings and finishing at Nuovo did not look as good to me as the G8 units.

Assessment on Nuovo vs Grandeur 8
In my opinion, better than Grandeur 8 (G8) if you can find a nice facing unit. Nearer to MRT than G8. G8 is 700 metres to AMK MRT, while Nuovo is 350 metres to YCK MRT and they are one station apart. Layout for units definitely better (not so squeezy) and more squarish (go check it out!). Amenities are aplenty around the area with market nearby at 400 metres (a must for families). Running stadium is 200 metres away (great for healthfreaks!) and turn the corner, you can run enroute to Upper Pearce Reservoir. Short drive to upper thomson area with good food. Near to good schools with St Nicks Girls and Ai Tong in close proximity. Newly painted so condo looks good as new. Rental yield MUCH higher than G8 at about 4.5-5.5%. Altho facilities wise, G8 nicer. Modern nice units so no need to reno so much. Chances for capital appreciation looks good with condo still not open to foreigners (5 years more). Futhermore with ongoing tightness in HDB market and suburban units in the near term, prospect looks good.
Groundfloor units and Penthouse units are esp beautiful. Go check it out. Esp groundfloor (super high ceiling- very rare).
