Excellent location and amenities
The location is great next to Tanjoing pagar MRT and less than 10 min walk to Outram and Downtown lines. Many supermarkets, gyms and anything within walkable distance. -

Tiny place with no storage
These 1BDR units only fit single person or a couple who have chosen to live extra minimalist style. Just ask an agent "Where do tenants store luggage?" and watch :) The size of the wardrobe is non-sense, will fit 10 T-shirts and a pair of socks, maybe 2 towels could also fit. But anything else? No way Black walls in bathrooms tend to get white coat after contact with soap, so agents just suggest to rinse and wipe dry the walls every time. Seriously? -

Hit and Miss
Just moved out and have mixed feelings about my stay. The location is amazing being a short walk from Tanjong Pagar station and the amenities nearby are very convenient. However, the Condo let itself down in a number of ways. Management was extremely difficult to deal with and during my stay I received more notices from management than actual mail. However, note that management has changed recently so I cannot comment on the new team. Security and cleaning staff were very courteous and the Condo was kept clean, although any damage was not always promptly repaired. We had some serious issues with the unit including flooring problems, cheap fittings and just poor design. This is the sort of condo you would live in for the location, and spend more time out and about town rather than at home. -

Would not recommend
There are just too many problems in the units for a new building. Not just with my unit, but I heard that other units are experiencing quite a lot of problems too. Things like: leaks, frequent short-circuits, broken built-in fixtures appliances (starting from washing machine to bathroom fixtures, etc). The interior is falling apart. Be prepared to pay a lot of extra costs to fix all these items. It could get noisy especially at late evenints (nearby construction), noisy and dusty. Management office - On the few occasions where I seek help regarding my unit, they are not v helpful honestly. Feeling that they are just pushing the problem around. Really wasted my time. Lift- you'll wait 5-10 minutes in the morning. -

Disappointed
I would not stay in this condo anymore. It looks great just on the photos, but not good to live in. For example sunbeds (next to swimming pool) / chairs (on the 56th floor), are attached to the floor ! You can't even change the direction ! Sun umbrella is broken on 7th floor for the past few months, or jacuzzi on the roof top doesn't work. What's the point of multi-milion investment if you can't use it ? You can't play tennis more that once a week, even if no one else is playing. Flats, are very small, you can get larger flats in other condos for the same price. -

Review after a year stay at Skysuites
Good condo in the city, 10 minutes walk from MRT station thought it is not sheltered. Very near to Chinatown and decent number of KTVs and eateries nearby. A total of 72 floors, half the units on till 55 floor are either studios or ‘single bedrooms’. Some people may say the single bedrooms are actually studios, but I feel otherwise. Decent size for one, two or more people, size is manageable even when partying. A good mix of foreigners, hardly any Singaporeans, but mainly white men with ‘friends’. Security reasonably okay, especially if they know you are foreigner, they also never ask any additional questions. Frequent drinks and parties on the 56th and roof top, though security might often come to ‘close’ the party at 10pm, you can easily return after they are gone. TBH, if there is a Jacuzzi and drinks, do expect some noise and party over the weekend. And with drinks, expect a bit of more mature situations. It is a place with lots of young bachelors and bachelorettes, a few old folks in between, but not ideal place for any family, as there are no schools nearby. The condo is also LGBT tolerant, I saw a few groups of men, but no discrimination at all. Though expensive, I managed to secure my leased at slightly under $1800 and it is suitable for young professionals with an active lives. -

Security staff rude, management unreasonable
Stayed in Skysuites for 6 months last year. Great location and decent view/design. On-site staff has poor attitude and treats the tenants like kids despite the prices we are paying for this supposedly premium condo. 1) The tennis court bookings were limited to two hours PER week. The Tennis courts are hardly utilized and for the first few months 4-6 hours worth of booking. It was ALWAYS EMPTY. You'd assume they will allow you to use a tennis court if you go downstairs and nobody has booked the court - right? NOPE. Tried speaking to management and security staff and they just pulled out the handbook saying two hours limit per week of booking - even though there is a clause about first-in-first-serve for unclaimed tennis sessions. 2) They tried to frame me for losing a plate. They also liquid papered and editted the utensils checklist sheet after i signed it when cehcking out the facilities. (They even confirmed everything was OK). Next day the next customers did the coutn themselves and noticed not all utensils were there....Security staff went up to my apartment to search my kitchen for the missing items - I clearly did not steal it. 3) Security staff would also kick you out of the common areas after 10pm. Very embarrassing when I have friends over and just want an open space to sit and chat quietly. There is not a residential apartment in site from the open areas so noise is definitely not a real concern EVEN IF we were loud. Overall a bad experience dealing with management and the staff on site. The lady who is in charge and older man were very rude in particular. Some of the staff under them were ok. -

Bad experience, terrible management
I just signed a lease for one apartment in the building Skysuites@Anson (8 Enggor str). I now am sorry I did for the following reasons, all of which I have discovered after the move in: 1) They only allow the use of the tennis court for 1 hour per week per tenant 2) They only allow the use of the grill 1 time per week per tenant even after requiring a $100 deposit 3) they make you sign a form every time you have a tiny piece of furniture delivered. 4) If you have a guest over and he/she needs to go downstairs for any reason, if the management people do not recognize him/her they will start acting like the Inquisition and pestering her with questions (Who are you visiting, how long are you staying etc). 5) Management, as it is busy making silly rules for everybody, has a hard time fulfilling requests that actually matter like fixing an oven in a timely matter or having a light bulb replaced on the hallway 6)This is more a personal preference - there are no plugs in the bathrooms and the kitchen is extremely poorly planned. For people who are enjoying using the amenities they pay for, or dealing with people who are reasonable and pleasant, this is definitely not the place to live in!!! -

Iconic Condo
The condo is located in an extremely convenient location right inside city center. Train (MRT) is just 2-3 mins walk away. In fact one can walk to MRT under aircon comfort through icon village below. Bus stops are just right infront of the condo. Food and restaurants are everywhere within 50m. At entrance to condo, one can just turn right and icon village is right there. another 30 sec walk one can also reach the shopping center. There are at least 2 big supermarts (NTUC) and one operates 24 hours a day. There are also many convenient stores round the clock. Some of the historic buildings and eating places are also a very short walk away. The condo is iconic is right now it is the two highest residential buildings in Singapore. There are plenty of facilities spread over different floors in this 72 storey building. The most distinctive is the top of the building c rown open area where one can enjoy the top of the world building and the day and night scene. One can catch the ships moving or just enjoy the night breeze. Most of the units are small, suitable for singles or couples. The finishing is generally good. For singles, better to stay in the 1 room as the studios are a little small. Overall, enjoyed the place and it has been pleasant -
