Gem in the East
Fantastic layout, near good schools, well connected to city and heartlands, good food nearby, windy with natural sunlight, peace and quiet, responsive management. -

Poor maintenance & estate management
Positive points are good unit sizes & the 25m lap pool. However, the common area is poorly maintained. At the bamboo garden, there are bamboo leaves & bird droppings on the fabric sofa, also, there are moss & water stains on the fabric sofa. The mgt. office should build a shelter to cover the fabric sofa area, or change them to washable plastic chairs n table. Alternatively, if no suitable furniture can be found, just remove the fabric sofa which is really an eyesore. Besides, the children playground & common toilet are very dirty & poorly maintained. The toilet seats are very dirty with black stains. The basement parking area tends to be pretty wet at time due to car washing all over the place. Due to limited parking lots, visitors' cars are not allowed to park inside on weekends. -

Incredible
Living here for several years and is getting increasingly disappointed & annoyed with maintenance and management of this Condo compared to others: - Condo Managers come and go twice per year - Poor maintenance of Wooden Decking around the Pool - Ball games allowed on carpark level with loud noises echoing around the Condo - Large Snakes found in Apartments - Rats found in the Apartments and Terrace Areas - Ants and other insects uncontrolled in Public Areas move into the Apartments -

Big and Good - The Amery
Possibly one of the largest condominium in Telok Kurau. Nice pool and ample car parks. Nearly 90 car park lots for 78 units. The best part is the unit sizing and layout. Big units, especially the penthouses. Duplex units with 6 bedrooms for the larger units!! And less than $3m. Where to find??!! -

Average Place
One of the newer condos in the area. Looks good on the outside but once you go in you'll realize there' nothing really much inside. The only wonderful thing here is the 25m lap pool which most apt/condos in Telok Kurau area don't have. The bamboo garden behind is hardly used as it is poorly maintained. Silly to use fabric for outdoor furniture as it's wet for days after raining and there are bird droppings everywhere on the fabric. Another feature is the waterfall hut which is hardly utilized as the water falling down wets the wooden benches. The gym is quite standard and small which in most cases the same for developments in Telok Kurau. The function is of a good size to fit in just about 15-20 people. Parking is a major issue here, 80 units 80 lots. If you have more than 1 car (almost 30 units have 2nd cars) hmmmmmm. If you want peace and quiet and larger rooms then maybe this is Ur place otherwise the only good side is that it is waking distance from amenities like Kembangan/Eunos MRT (30-40mins), library (25mins),I12 Katong (25mins), Parkway Parade (45mins) petrol kiosk (15mins), food (all within 10-30mins). -

Food Paradise
From the pictures, this good size condo really comes with expensive renovation. Very comfy and pleasing to the eyes. Don't forget this development is centre to food paradise in Katong, East Coast Road, Changi Road and Joo Chiat. Imagine a short walk to Ampang Niang Tou Fu for dinner, Katong I12 for a movie, follow by dessert at Awfully Chocolate. Tire of the same routine, you can always try Seng Kee Mushroom Minced Pork Noodle at 316 Changi Road. Best of all, you can also have 24 hours Fei Fei Wantan Mee in Joo Chiat as supper. All within walking distant. Don't need expensive car! Great too if you attend school at VJC. -

Truly a rare gem along Telok Kurau
I have been staying in Telok Kurau for the past 15 years. Saw many apartments and condominiums built over the years but this project Amery stands out from the rest. Situated along Telok Kurau Lorong K and between still road and Telok Kurau road, it is easily accessible and convenient as PIE, ECP and Eunos mrt are just a stone away. This development is nicely done up and typically very quiet and peaceful. Good size function room and swimming pool for the family. Compare to other projects around the area, this is truly a gem. -

Very nice indeed
Visited a friend living in a unit here and first thing that impressed me was the beautiful swimming pool! We hardly see such pool size these days. The development was also very pleasant, bright and breezy. I thought the landscaping was nice and loved the bamboo garden! The apartment itself was very well designed, squarish and with good finishings. A tennis court would make this a perfect condominium!! -
