Buyers need to beware of adjacent construction site for next few years. It will be some noise and air pollution as well.
Otherwise condo is good. But seems overly priced at the moment. I am not sure if in normal economic times this kind prices will sustain. Also as time passing by condo is getting older and after 5-7 years the price of this condo will start going down.
Just trying the guage the buyers risk here.

A condo with Fantastic Fengshiu
Agree with previous person's review, ontop of having a resort style, full facilities and has Squash court which is not found in most full facilities condo. I like the huge lap pool as opposed to those small odd irregular shaped type. Surrounding is quiet and serene.
I also found a webpage of a fengshiu master, http://www.geomancy.net/review/tropica/index.htm who commented this condo having a very good fengshiu. It commented that the condo's horseshoe layout is auspicious. About 10 to 15 minutes from condo is a mini central with mcdonald, kfc and market, shops too.
Current market price around $640-700 per square foot is still pretty low and worth buying for own stay or investment, because I understand from agent that the land next to it has been awarded to developer at quite a high bid and possibly will be developed into a condo. If so, the price of this condo will also increase too.
I'm also giving a 4.5 out of 5 for this condo.

Resort style condo
I like this resort-style condo for the generous space between the buildings with great privacy and paranomic view of the Bedok Reservoir.
It has full condo facilities with spacous gym, large swimming pool, over-sized function room, together with sauna, squash and tennis courts etc.
It's nearby to good schools like Poi Ching and St Hilda's, and is likely to attract high rental demands from Temasek Poly and Institute of SEA studies that are within 1 km distance.
It is also nearby to IKEA, Courts, Giants, SAFRA Tampines and nearby Coffee Shops. TPE, PIE and KPE, as well as Bartley Flyover are just within 1-3km distance, so you can travel to any part of Singapore faster than you start from the city fringe with all the traffic jams and traffic lights.
With the future DownTown line extending to the East, there is a likelyhood for a MRT station to be near Temasek Poly and Institute of SEA Studies, which is just at the door step of The Tropica.
So I'm giving a 4.5 out of 5 for this condo. Where did the 0.5 goes to? It's a 99 year sadly... but it's still worth it at the current pricing of S$680 psf based on recent transacted prices.

resort living yes. quite good.
there are some good schools nearby.
some units have great view of bedok reservoir.
possibility of some future development.
Condo itself is good.
yet, not that convenient, and getting old.
average psf $666 is overly priced.
