Can I check if I am eligible to buy a HDB resale flat. I’m a Singapore Citizen. Single. 26yrs old. I check on the HDB website that says I can’t get a flat until I am 35yrs old. However, I have some friends who were also younger, single, SC, got flat under his and one of the parents’ name. His parent is a LTVP holder. May I know is this why possible for me as well if My parent has LTVP.

Hi,

1) Yes, you and your parent with LTVP can buy under the Non-Citizen Family Scheme even though you are under 35 yrs old.
2) Maybe you didn't reveal the whole detail of your situation when putting up an inquiry. Thus causing this whole misunderstanding.
3) Note under this scheme you are only allowed to buy a resale flat. There is no such scheme under BTO/SBF application.
