Hi,
1) In general, this should not be an issue but it is costing you more unnecessary.
2) If you have funds all over multiple banks. It is better that you consolidate them together into a single bank to issue a cashier order.
3) However, there are situations where you are requested to prepare multiple cashier orders.
4) For example, one cashier order will need to be prepared for each of the following:
(a) the seller has an outstanding loan from the HDB or bank.
(b) There are cash proceeds from the sale. If under such a situation, there is also COV. Then the total sum will be included in this cashier order.
(c) No cash proceeds component from the sale, but there is a COV.
(d) Amount to return to the sellers' CPF OA.
