In not honouring the renewal clause with the salesperson, can we then say that the tenant can also not honour the clause in the tenancy agreement? Rather than this approach, I believe that you should pay the salesperson for the upcoming renewal, however, negotiate to the salesperson to reduce the commission rate for the next renewal.
