Hi,

For HDB, there is a question of where you will stay if you sell your HDB. If you are a private property owner as well, the best option will always to stay in the unit with the lowest annual value and rent out the one with the higher annual value.

If you only have a hdb and you are able to do full cash settlement on your next hdb purchase, you will be able to lessen the burden you will have of trying to keep up with the monthly hdb loans.

To sell or rent, this really depends on your needs.

Since you are thinking of selling or renting, i would presume you have another place to stay.

General rule of thumb, if you want to cash out in the current market, sell your property. If you want to generate passive income, keep and rent out. HDB flats command high rental yield.
