Dear All, i am malaysian SPR and my ex spouse is malaysian SPR as well and we have a kid SPR, we both a resale HDB 9 years back, and me and my ex spouse already have the final divorce court order last year nov, she have the custody and care & control of my kid and in the court order also stated i sell my partshare 50% to her

My question is

1) Can she retain the HDB flat with my kid under her custody ( care and control)

2) Is there a TIME FRAME (example, six months after the final divorce court order) that i need to sell my share to her?

3) what can i do as a SPR, if i want to purchase a house to stay? can i buy resale EC?

Please advise, hope can have some experience agent to help me for this painful process...Thanks

Hi,

Deeply regrets of your situation.
Do hope the answer below able to solve some of your many problems.

1) Your ex-spouse is eligible to hold on to the flat with the custody of your kid.

2) Once you divorce (final court order delivery), the transfer of flat (sell share) must be commence within 6 months, because once divorce you are no longer eligible to hold the title of the flat.

3) As a single SPR, you are only only eligible to buy resale EC or private.
