Hi agents,
while looking for a property to rent recently, I realised that all agents do not put interior photos of the apartments they are listing. This occurs not only in rental but also in sales. Some only put corridor photos. Thus, it becomes really frustrating for buyers to have a attend a viewing and then find out that the apartment is not suited to their needs. Can any agent provide any insight into this practice? Thanks agents and have a good day.

Hello,

As far as possible, I always take my own photos of the interior of the apartment/house using my SLR camera. I work with great landlords/owners who have lovely properties, thus am always eager to showcase the actual product!

However, for properties with a sitting tenants, I prefer not to disturb the tenant as far as possible. It may not always be convenient to go in for phototaking purposes.

For such units I prefer to conduct a showhouse timeslot of 1-2 hours so that for the time that I am disturbing the sitting tenant, I can fit in as many viewings as possible. Tenants are usually appreciative as they don't need to be on standby for adhoc viewings.

Hope this helps shed some light, have a good day!

Warmest regards,
