Hi all,

We have rented private apt for 2 years lease. because of recession, my job had been terminated. We have already stayed for 14 months and we want to leave the place and search for cheaper place.

In our contract: If our job is ceased in Singapore or posted outside, then we can leave the place after 1 year.

Question?
Do we have contact lawyer and give to the owner the notice? Or just email will suffice?
