It all depends how soon you want to earn your first commission. Most of my new agents close their 1st deal within the 2-3 weeks after getting their CEA license. The main reason is, they have decided to join me even before taking their RES course.

I pointed them to the right trainer, gave them coaching for the exam and started them on our in-house New Agent Training even before they get their license. They are ready to be productive much earlier and already know what they are going to do the moment they pass the RES exam.

If you only want to start exploring after you pass the RES exam? You would have wasted lots of productive time.

Yes, we reimburse course fees & CEA registration fees unpon meeting certain target & timeframe. At DTZ, new agents get 80% of the commission, much higher than the 70% of many other agencies. Then again, all that is not the most important, the key is, how soon can you close your 1st deal and continue closing deals.
