In succeeding in this business, importance of mentor is secondary unless your mindset is in a system approach where you just carry out the steps and processes being taught or shared by the mentors, without understanding the background towards each single process.

I always believe that treating real estate as any other businesses will be important, where application of the critical thinking process will be the key towards your success in this business. You may wonder why some producers can last decades in this business while some top producers fade after a short period. By understanding a business critical success path, a mentor that comes in will significantly reduce the cycle time involve in achieving good results then, and all entrepreneurs are always looking out to reduce the cycle time such that the process of closing deals will be cut short significantly to improve the efficiency.
