Hi Guru, I am considering a 3 bedder unit at Blossom Residences as I am thinking of swifting near to my sons school at NTU for a shorter travelling. May I know is this a good project to consider for capital upside in the next 5-6 years? Due to the recent surge in property prices. My budget can be around CCK or BP area.

The key pointer is always what the entry price for the resale unit that you are looking at. Whether you are purchasing at market range, below or above market range for that individual listing will be critical. Look into how many transactions have been clocked for similar 3 bedroom units in this development versus the enclave or district level to determine if this is a highly sought after development. Need help? Engage an agent to look into this with you. Supply and demand plays a huge part for prices and value.

Hi

I will recommend the CCK area more as there are news of a new mixed development that will come up near CCK mrt soon. On top of bringing convenience to residents in the area, the land price will likely set a new high, and indirectly benefit existing private property developments since the price norms in the area will adjust higher again. Entering now you can benefit from this trend going forward.

There are also some condos nearer to CCK MRT, mall and town centre, with some walking distance or a few bus stops away to reach the MRT. CCK is also going to have the jurong region line interchange in 3 to 4 years time, which has a stop in NTU as well, which will improve connectivity.
