Hi, Gurus,
I read below info from CPF website with regards to minimum sum to set aside.
=======================================
If you are married, together with your spouse, you may choose to set aside a combined Minimum Sum which is 1.5 times the Minimum Sum provided you nominate each other as beneficiaries.
=======================================
Here is my question:
I am married and have fully paid up a private Condo. If I consider to buy a 2nd private condo and service it using CPF, do my wife and I have to set aside 123,000/2=61,500S$ each in our CPF OA+SA accts OR can we set aside a combined 61,500*1.5=92,250S$ and use the balance in our OA+SA accounts to service the new condo?
Your advice is much appreciated.
