Hi Gurus,

Want to understand if I buy a resale HDB and there's a lot of built-in furniture which i do not wish to keep, will the owner re-instate the flat to original hdb condition before the sale? Or will i need to get contract to tear down and re-furnish during renovation after that purchase? Appreciate your advice. Thanks.

Happy lunar new year to you, buyer!

FYI built in furniture will come along with the purchase so if you dont want them, you have to assign a contractor to hack and remove them on your own expense.

Hope my explanation helps!

May I know how can I value add in your purchase?

Warmest Regards,

Hi, it will be the contractor job to hack or tear down all those built in furniture. Usually the hacking cost is included in your renovation package, so whether it is a few pieces or a lot of built in furniture to be hacked or tear down, the cost of it will be the same. Hope to be able to assist you further.

Hi,

Built-in furniture will come along with the purchase, hence you have to appoint an contractor to tear it down for you. Thanks and hope to assist with your purchase plans further.

Afternoon,

Built-in furniture are included in the standard S&P. If you feel that the current built-in does not suit your requirement, you will have to get your own contractors to remove it after completion of transaction.
