Hi, I am abit confused on this income ceiling of $8000 for buying a HDB flat (resale/new).
I am working oversea and drawing basic salary USD 5300 per month. If allowance included it will be about USD 8200 per month.
Is it eligible to apply HLE grant? Can I buy EC/ Private condo from open market with bank loan. Can someone advise me on this?

Hi Shan,
Your income qualifies you to buy an EC. I am mktg one now near an MRT. There are other eligibility criteria though so if you would like to check if you can still do so, give me a call and i'd be glad to help you assess your eligibility and advise you from there.
