Hi,
I am currently the owner of a HDB 4 room unit that I purchased from the resale market more than 5 years ago. At that time, I took the 40k concessionary grant (including stay near parents) and HDB loan to purchase the unit. The unit is now fully paid for.
My query is this:
Do I still qualify to purchase a larger "brand new" unit (> 4 room) directly from HDB? Would I need to pay any resale levy from the sale of my current 4 room unit? How would the purchase process differ from other first time buyer etc. Any other points I need to take note off?
