Dear sir,

In 2009, I have assisted an Indian family who have just relocated into Singapore from Australia into Edelweiss Park Condo. Back then, the family had already secured a place in DPS at Chai Chee. I believe first and foremost, you will need to make plans and secure a place in the school for your child before deciding on a location which allow you to send and pick up your child from school easily with proximity to your workplace as next priority. Of course, nearby amenities like public transport accessibility, eateries, groceries stores are also as important, but with the efficieny estate planning by our government, such amenities are usually just minutes away regardless which estate you decide to go. Next up will be the housing allowance you have set aside for rental before we can look at what the choices you have. It could work to set out your housing allowance first too. I have been relocating incoming expatriates like yourself for the past year and have also set up a facebook group "New Singapore Expats" after understanding the concerns which many of my tenants have, therefore creating a platform for all new expatriates to meet and share their experiences.

There are a few Indian International School that you may want to consider
1) National Public School International (NPS) @ Chai Chee, Bedok.
NPS is located near Bedok/Tanah Merah MRT vicinity, Bedok Sports Hall nearby and there are a couple 24 hours supermarket Bedok Central.
2) Delhi Public School (DPS) @ Kovan
DPS is located near Kovan MRT vicinity, Serangoon Stadium is just further down the road. There amenities such as eateries and supermarket at Kovan MRT.
3) Global Indian International School (GIIS) @ East Coast
GIIS is located near Bedok/Kembangan MRT vicinity, Bedok Sports Hall nearby and there are a couple 24 hours supermarket Bedok Central.
4) GIIS @ Balestier
GIIS is located near Toa Payoh MRT vicinity, amenities are easily available at Toa Payoh Central, Toa Payoh Stadium and also right beside the school.
5) GIIS @ Queenstown
GIIS is located near Queenstown MRT, and Queenstown Stadium is also nearby. However, there isn’t much amenities near Queenstown MRT.
Above are some international school that you can consider.
