Hi,

1) The requirement for a foreign spouse to be eligible to buy an HDB with SC is different.

2) If you are under 35 yrs old, your spouse must:
(a) have either LTVP (Long Term Visit Pas) or WP (Work Pass)
(b) Not owning any private property locally and overseas.

3) If you are at or above 35 yrs old, your spouse must:
(a) have either VP or WP.
(b) Not owning any private property locally and overseas.

4) The wait-out period after selling the overseas property before being eligible to buy is as follows:
(a) BTO: 30-month
(b) Resale: 15-month

5) You can buy both BTO and resale based on the Public Scheme since you already have an SC son. So you are not restricted to buying any type of flats.
6) If you are buying a resale flat under (3), then you are also eligible for a Single Citizen grant, EHG & PHG if applicable.
