I am SPR and would like to upgrade from HDB 3rm to 4 4m. In this case can I do parallel transactions and what should I take care about?

How much cash I need? Will bank provide any bridging loan?

Do note that current policy is that only married SPR couple of more than 3 years SPR status can purchase resale hdb. Is that the case for you?

You can do the upgrade concurrently by selling your 3rm HDB and buying a 4rm HDB. However, you need to have a carefully planned out timeline so as to ensure that the transition is smooth.

As SPR, the mortgage loan from your current unit and the upcoming purchase will be under bank loan. You can have both transaction done concurrently with the timeline well planned. You will definitely need funds for the purchase, depending on how much profit is available from your sales. As for bridging loan, it will be highly possible if your sales is positive.

Good morning upgrader,

Let me help you with this.

You are eligible to upgrade as long as you have fulfilled the minimum occupation period for current HDB.

We can transact both concurrently and I will need to time them precisely so you wont have to find a temporarily accommodation and shift twice.

By the way if your spouse is a SPR as well, you will be subject to 5% ABSD for the purchase.

Perhaps we can meet up over a cup of coffee to discuss further on your upgrading plans. From there, I will be in a better position to draft out a financial calculation to gauge how much cash do you require and is there a need for bridging loan.
