Congratulations on your passing of the RES Exams. Extracted from CEA's website and I quote:

"All RES course participants are required to pass the RES examination within 2 years from the date of issuance of the RES course completion certificate. Candidates with a partial pass in the RES examination are required to pass the remaining paper(s) within the 2-year timeframe. Should they fail to do so, the partial pass in the RES examination will not be valid and candidates will have to re-take the RES course before attempting the full RES examination again.

Upon passing the RES examination, the candidate will be issued the RES examination certificate. If the candidate wishes to join the real estate industry as a salesperson, he/she must submit his/her salesperson's registration application through a licensed estate agent within 2 years from the month of the examination which he/ she sat for and passed, failing which the examination results will no longer be valid for salesperson registration purposes."

The major agencies in Singapore have diverse array of talents, with different leaders having strengths in different segments of the market. The key thing is about the commitment in this business. With a full time job, it could be difficult to focus in any particular segment if there is no proper system and structure in place to guide the agent. Most leaders will pitch to you about their training programs and etc, but at the end of the day, you may still be left on your own as you are unable to fall in to activities planned for the team most of the time, even more so if you are planning to focus in CBD area.

I am currently overseeing a landed program which last for 15 weeks where we will prepare agents like you to become a landed consultant as part of your phase to become our partners. Not too sure if you are keen to explore as this program is mainly taking up 1 weekday evening and 1 weekend per week with alternate week classroom training.
