Hi,

To add on to what Mr Eric Tng has said.

The new CEA ruling indicates that an agent should only be representing one side of the deal. If she is representing you, she is entitled to get commission from you.

Given the scenario of collecting from the co-broke agent, she would be representing the landlord since she is getting the commission from the landlord.

The above mentioned are just to clarify the technical aspect of the proceedings.

Landlord can be represented by many agents. Hence, its up the landlord agent or 'your' agent to determine how they want to split the commission.

Hope this helps.
