HI,

Unfortunately, a single SPR won't be able to purchase a HDB (new/resale) or DBSS (only resale). Thus, the only option for a single SPR will be to purchase a Private property.

Purchasing a private property is not a bad idea as they are most likely to appreciate more than a HDB.

What is most important is that you find the most suitable property for you where you can comfortably finance the property.

Why don't we do a prudent planning to see what are the property most suitable for you?

Feel free to contact me at 92707548  to discuss further.

Thanks!

Hi

May I understand what you menatbby single married PR? Or your partner is foreigner? Singls PR are not allowed to purchase a HDB by themselves. The must form a family nucleus with another family members which is either a PR or SC. They can be a sole owner however with their other family members named as occupants. There is no such restriction for private properties. You may consider purchasing a private property as recent trends has shown that HDB flats do depreciate in value. I do provide 100% free service on purchase of private property. In addition, I do provide free and non obligatory discussions on property transactions in Singapore. Do contact me at 93375051  for a free discussions on this.
