Hi,

I'm looking at purchasing a property in either "The Windsor", "Thomson Grove" or "Bullion Park". I'm stating these properties because they are in the Thomson vicinity close to my house. As I'm overseas for sometime, my main intention for investment is Rental and hopefully a good increase in valuation over the next 3 years. What is your opinion on these units? Do they fetch a good rental over a 30 year mortgage? Or what other areas/units in Singapore would you suggest for good rental/valuation?My budget is less than 1.5 million. Thanks

Hi Nair,

The properties you have mentioned are great for own stay but not necessarily yield good rental returns.

For increase in valuation over the next 3 years, you should be looking at areas where there will be an increase in commercial activities or improved convenience e.g new downtown line etc.
