Hi Kader, the very minimum of lease will be 1 year. However a few landlord would accept a 6 months also.

Dear tenant,

Go through the tenancy agreement. Typical 1 year tenancy agreement does not allow you to terminate the lease prematurely. Landlord will have right to seek damages amounting to whatever balance amount of unfulfilled rental. If you require such a clause, it should be negotiated right from the beginning when you put in your offer to rent the apartment.
