Hi I'm planning to buy condo, I have a few questions below. May any expert kindly help me. Thanks a lot.
1, does agent help to apply for home loan? And is it good to get loan with mortgage company? My agent help takes me to view units only, and he works with mortgage broker company, the company help to get AIP.
2, Is AIP from banker in the form of email? Or kind of formal document?

Good morning Bonnie,

I usually will be very neutral on this. I will gather the latest loan packages from various banks to advise my clients on their pros and cons. Then from there, I will let my client decide.

AIP could be in the form of email or mobile message.

I will normally do a sharing with my client on the current property market first then will touch on different property regions so they will have a better idea where should they buy at this point of time.

Yes usually I shared with my clients the latest mortgage packages available and some of my inputs to help them make an informed decision. AIP is usually in the form of an email or message.

Hi Bonnie, an IPA will either be in the form of email or it could be a simple text from a banker too and it is deem good enough. For my case, I would usually get all my local bankers to give a courtesy text to my buyer so that at the end of the day, my buyer could pick and shortlist the best rate from that particular banker.

I will usually link my clients up with the bankers that I have always worked with to do a verbal AIP or confirmation of the loan amount via email. I will also go further by helping my clients look out for the package with the lowest rates and recommend them a bank with good after sales services.

1. Yes, I always assist my client to apply home loan. I work directly with banker.
2. IPA in the form of email is ok. The bank will only start to work on the Letter of Offer after you send it the OTP.
