Hi,

I believed you already aware of the market rate, but merely trying to get a bargain from the portal.

However, you have to understand that you are dealing with few hundreds of thousand in buying and selling. Though service charge is also one of the considering factors, this should not be the most important factor. Do not forget stamp duty is already 3% which is even higher than any service charges in the market.

Finding a trustworthy, willing to put your interest at the highest priority should be the selection criteria.

In my opinion, you should look out for a committed salesperson who will be able to fetch the highest possible price for your property and not be overly concerned about the commission. The high price that you can achieve for your property will definitely outweigh the commission that you will be paying.

It may seem no difference to a consumer like yourself about the mechanisms involved in the sales and marketing of a property, although different professionals charge differently in terms of their rates.

If you allow me to share more with you on how should a property be marketed in a competitive market like Sengkang and Punggol where the number of units available for sale in competition is huge, you will then understand more why I am charging only 2% + GST when it comes to the sale of a property. Wherever applicable, I will refrain from getting involved in the purchasing process as I believe it is easier for the consumer to manage that aspect of the transaction.
