Hi Property Experts, My Owner is in the process of selling house and so he given us 2 weeks of notice to vacate the house before the completion date. However, he promised that he will compensate and return the deposit once we vacate the house one day before completion date. And when he gets the money from the buyer. Due to his suspected behaviour during the conversation, our worry is that he won't entertain the promise after we vacate the house. Should we accept his request to vacate the house earlier before completion date and wait for him to pay the money later. What are the options if he doesn't entertain the promise and how to get our deposit money back as he broke the tenancy agreement. We still have more than one month left. Appreciate any advice on this. Thanks
