hi Propertyguru,

We are SPR.
If one of the occupiers (my son, a minor) has a property on his name (in my home country) and my wife has a house gifted from her father, do we need to sell these houses before buying/upgrading to a new HDB flat.

Afternoon,

Firstly, PRs are not eligible to purchase BTO units.
Secondly, I have experienced case where the buyers have inherited property, local or oversea, prior to purchase of HDB unit, given the approval to keep their inherited unit.
