Hi..a couple of questions on HDB purchase for singles: 1) is there any restriction on the size of the flat that can be purchased, ie. can singles buy 5 room flats? 2) general market conditions for AMK flats - are prices dropping, any $0 COV possibilities?

Afternoon Amanda, If you are taking HDB loan, you are limited to max of 5 room flat under single scheme. As of the moment, I have not encountered any 5 room flat within AMK that's going below value. Hi Ms. Amanda, for resale you are eligible to buy a 5-Rm HDB once you are above age 35 yrs. My opinion is that it is unlikely that $0 COV be at AMK. COV might drop a bit at matured estate like AMK, Bishan or Toa Payoh, but zero COV at this area are very unlikely currently. Let me know if you are keen at AMK HDB?
