How much should a private property (apartment) seller pay in terms of commission towards the agent? I was told 2% by the agent I've engaged but I checked with a few other agents and they told me 1%? So what is the market or legislated practise?

Morning,

There's no rules or law indicating the commission payable to the salesperson you intend to engage. It's to be discussed between you and your salesperson. As your salesperson would need to cobroke, which would allow your unit to be marketed at a faster pace, higher commission would help.
