Hi,

For 2nd property purchase, MOP of 5 years must be met. If you are an SC, you can keep both HDB and condo.

As current policies only allow 80% max bank loan, 20% downpayment and 3% stamp duties are still required, hence you will need at least that to book an unit. Thanks and hope to understand your requirements further and discuss.

    I have used up quite a lot of my CPF to pay for my HDB thus I don't have much money left in the CPF.

    I am a Singaporean.

    Of course it will be good if I can have both the HDB and condo but I can't come up with the cash for the down payment.

    Therefore I'm thinking of selling the HDB to get the condo.

    I have already stay in the HDB flat for 15 years.

    GIven that I don't have much cash for the downpayment, what option do I have if I am keen to purchase a condo?

Assuming a decent 1BR condo of price $600,000.
Cash 5% = $30,000
15% = $90,000
Buyer's Stamp duty = $12,600
Additional Buyer's Stamp duty = $42,000

Assuming bank lends you 80%, total cash / CPF outlay is $174,600
