Let's look at two different cases, starting for the easiest: Purchase of condo. Being PR, you are eligible to purchase condo, without much restriction other than the amount of money bank can disperse to you and your budget. You are not required to sell your overseas property.
For HDB, you can purchase the HDB unit with your husband or kids who have to be SC or PR, under open scheme. There's a MOP of 5 years which means that you are not eligible to sell or rent out the entire unit without prior HDB approval, within this period of time. You will have to purchase the unit using Bank loan and that would be dependent on your credit record and income status. We also need to work on your budget requirement and other micro details.
