I am a single that recently turned 35 years old with the intention to buy a resale HDB.
I am not eligible for any grants due to income ceiling cap. Interested to buy old HDB as I prefer the more squarish layouts but it may not last me 95 years of age. How will this affect my LTV mortgage loan since I am unable to take HDB loan.

what is the balance lease of the flats you are looking at?

do take note that there might be instances that you will not be able to utilise your CPF OA funds in full as well if the flat is unable to last you till 95 years old.

Your LTV depends on your age and the balance lease of the flat you're buying. As you're 35 years old, unless you purchase flats built earlier than 1985, you should be able to loan up to 75% of the Valuation/Purchase Price (whichever is lower).

The older the flat (earlier than 1985) you purchase, the lesser your LTV.
