I am looking at becoming a Real Estate agent. Currently I have a full time job but would like to switch professions and I was wondering - is it possible to work as a RE agent on a part-time basis alongside my job?

Are there any agencies that would hire an agent on a part-time basis as I am looking for flexibility of working hours. In due time, I intend to quit my job and focus on real estate full-time.

Also, is there any support provided by agencies in terms of a database of properties/leads that a starting agent like myself can have access to?

Thank you,
Kay

Afternoon Kay,

I'm currently in the process of recruiting a new associate who will be starting as part-time agent. However, to start with , you are required to attend the RES course and pass the RES exam.
As to getting a database for leads and prospect, that would depends on which sector you are looking into. And most of the agents start with zero leads but many survived using method that suits them well, along with the hardwork that they have contributed.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.
