Hi Azman,

Unfortunately no, to be eligible for new EC, you cannot own private property within the last 30 months before application. You can purchase resale EC that has met the MOP of 5 years no issue.

No, you will need to wait out for 30 months period before you are eligible to purchase a brand new EC after selling off your condo. And if you were to purchase a brand new EC now, there will also be a resale levy being applied since you have purchased a resale HDB with grant before.

I regret to inform you that you're only eligible to apply for a brand new EC direct from the Developer 30 months after you had dispose off your private property. You will also have to meet all other eligibility conditions, i.e valid family nucleus, income ceiling etc.

Do take note that as a second timer, you will also need to pay a resale levy should you go for the EC.
