I currently have a HDB unit with outstanding HDB loan of $98,000 and have bought an EC under deferred payment scheme with DBS. Now that my EC has attained TOP, do I need to finish of my HDB loan before DBS can disburse money to EC developer? Is that the only solution before I am able to collect EC keys? I am currently putting my HDB unit on sale.

Evening,

If you have bought a new EC, the bank will only disperse 50% loan until you can provide with the OTP of your unit. I would be sure your servicing agent will be the best person to guide you through it.
