As a seller, you would prefer to close the deal at the highest possible price but how high is high enough? When you allow multiple salesperson to market your unit, the individual salesperson would put their interest ahead of yours, as the one who closed the deal gets the payout while others are being leftout. With this in mind, it would be clear to your initial question.
As for the commission payout, it should be discussed between client and salesperson, as per Fair Trade Act. If you think that a salesperson have done well, you might even consider paying them more, even though the commission payout have being fixed, right?
