Hi Fifi,

There is one thing I do not understand. How can you have a first appointment if you have not secured any loan? How can you exercise the option to purchase before securing any loan? 1st appointment is only given after you have exercise the OTP.

Afternoon Fifi,

Your acting agent should have presented the buyer's checklist to you and explain all the necessary, prior to exercising the OTP or submitting the documents to HDB. And even if he have forgotten about it, he would be required to submitted your mortgage financing document, along with your application.
I would advice you to back off now, with mutual agreement with seller, then to received legal documents from seller's lawyer for specific performance, when you can't even get loan from bank.
