I intend to rent my EA room flat at Pasir Ris at $2400. Is this the market rate? Do I need to pay commission to agent if I going to hire one?

yes, u do need to pay the agent comm.
however, some charge 1 mth & some 1/2 & some even $0..

when u pay peanuts , u get monkeys ;)

1st always pay something within your budget, 2nd pay more if you love the place
3rd more if it convenient
4th pay the agent who suggest to you.

Hi Aloysius,

Yes, you will need to pay commission. For agent servicing the landlord, for a 2-year lease, you will need to pay him 1 month of rental rate. For 1 year, is half month.
