I just exercised my option to renew, if I want to exercise option to renew again next year.. can I do it? There's no agent for this unit as it's directly liaised with LL. But I am told by a few friends that I am only allowed to exercise option to renew once, why is it so when the contract upon renewal there's still option to renew clause in the TA? Please advise. Thank you so much!

Hi, appreciate your sharing. Any renewal is subjected to both landlord and tenant to decide on the price and term. You can check with landlord's agent or landlord for more info.

Are you friends lawyers or realtors? If you have not engaged a realtor to rent the property, then you should be prepared to handle such situations or aware of what you can or cannot do for renewal. Without seeing your tenancy agreement, it is not possible for us to indicate if you are entitled to renew for subsequent times.
