I’m a 35 year old single Singaporean looking to buy a HDB flat.
I’m not employed in Singapore since four years ago as I’m self-employed for a family business in Malaysia. The company is registered solely under my mother’s name, who is a Malaysian.
Understanding that it is not possible to get loan from HDB, my only option left is bank loan, which is extremely difficult too because technically I’m no owner of the business, and I do not draw salary like an employee, and hence no official pay slip. Neither do I have sufficient value of assets in Singapore to pledge nor show.
I hope to get sound and professional advice on how to increase my chance of securing a loan, if possible. Thank you.
