I will be 35 in March and would like to buy a resale flat at or around Bedok north ave 2 to be close to my parent. I currently earning $2800 a month and have about $70000 in my CPF. Could I afford a 4 room flat or only a 3 room one?

Afternoon, Since you are looking at purchasing resale HDB unit under single scheme, you will be eligible for HDB loan and housing grant. Depending on your credit status and credit record, you should be well eligible for 3 room flat. As for bigger sized unit, that would depend on how much ready cash you have at hand. Good afternoon, I will advise you to apply for HLE (home loan eligibility) to find out how much loan are you able to obtain from HDB first so from there, we can work things out.
